My approach

I am a medical doctor, having qualified in the UK (MRCGP), trained in both Clinical Sexology (CICS qualified) and Integrative Ayurvedic Practice (Ayurveda Institute UK). My aim is to support clients in getting in touch with their sexuality and sensuality through a holistic therapeutic approach drawing on my medical knowledge as well as my immersed heritage in Ayurvedic practice and reading of the Vedic Literature. The goal is to empower clients in experiencing all their pleasure senses: seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, touching, and your sixth sense of interoception - sensing the internal state of the body. I aim to help you connect with your internal self in a safe therapeutic space, addressing all your biopsychosocial needs. I am available to see you, online or in-person.

My Philosophy

  • Dr Saral

MBChB (2000), MRCGP (2006), DRCOG, MSc (KCL)

  • Having qualified in Medicine in 2000, I have spent a great deal of my professional life learning about patients’ journeys and experiences. Through my own reflective practice I have drawn on my experience of helping patients with mental health difficulties, relationship troubles and identity issues both through a medicalised approach as well drawing on my ayurvedic knowledge to offer a more holistic approach to help restore balance and self-sensuality in one’s life.

“Kama”

In Hindu traditions, kama is one of life's four aims (purusharthas), Vatsyayana, the author of the "Kama Sutra," describes kama as happiness that is a phenomenon of the mind, or manasa vyapara. The "Kama Sutra" defines kama as pleasure experienced by the senses while in harmony with the mind and soul

Kama is considered essential and healthy if pursued with the other three aims: dharma (righteousness), artha (prosperity) and moksha (spiritual liberation).
